Your Post can receive a 10¢ credit for each dollar spent on American flag purchases from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com. This includes purchases made by your Post, as well as members, friends, neighbors, schools, & businesses that choose to sponsor your Post and buy their American flags from The American Legion.

Your Post will earn a 10¢ Flag Rewards credit for every dollar (excluding taxes & shipping) your Post or sponsors spend on American flags from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com.

Examples

Anything available from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com (awards, uniforms, shirts, caps, pins, coins, patches, flags, baseballs, etc).

1. Ask. Ask potential sponsors to purchase their American flags from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com.
2. Buy & re-sell. Your Post can buy flags and re-sell them to sponsors.

Anyone who chooses to have their American flag purchases from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com benefit your Post.

If a sponsor purchases an American flag from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com, they can request that their purchase benefit your Post. Here's how:

Ordering Online

• Customers who don't have an account: Visit Create Account page, complete required fields, and at the bottom of the form, enter your Post number & Post state.
• Customers with an existing account: Log in, visit Account Details page, and at the bottom of the page, enter your Post number & Post state.

Please Note: Once the previous steps have been taken, going forward, the Sponsor will need to log in before they check out to ensure your Post receives credit for their American flag purchases.

Once a sponsor has created an account & chosen a local Post, as long as they log in before checking out, their American flag purchases from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com will automatically benefit the Post.

Yes, a sponsor can contact Emblem Sales and request a change at any time.

Flag Rewards earned for the calendar year will be credited to your Post account once a year, by February 1st of the following year. For example, Flag Rewards earned in 2023 will be available on February 1, 2024 and may be used on any transactions through the end of 2024.

Your Post will have 11 months (February 1-December 31) to spend its Flag Rewards credit, which expire on December 31st each year.

Only your Post Adjutant (or designated representative) can make purchases using Flag Rewards credit.

Anyone wanting to use a Flag Rewards credit must supply the registered account email and password. For web site orders, you'll need to log in before you check out. Phone and mail orders must also include the email and password.

The Post Adjutant (or designated representative) may call Emblem Sales or log in with the registered email & password. Once logged in, if a credit is available, you'll see the amount and have an option to use it to pay during checkout.

Yes, an annual statement showing all American flag purchases from Flag & Emblem or AmericanLegionFlags.com is available upon request. Visit our Contact page to get in touch.

Yes, upon request, a report can be emailed to the Post Adjutant’s registered email showing all Flag Rewards credits used. Visit our Contact page to get in touch.

• Personally visit local schools, businesses, & homes that display the American flag and request they purchase their flags from The American Legion to directly benefit your Post.

• Offer to be a full-service flag provider. You can purchase & re-sell new flags and offer to properly dispose of old ones.
